Laravel Developer

This is a remote role, with occasional office visits for training, development with Team Leads.

Technologies you’ll work with

PHP using the Laravel framework, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Git using CI/CD workflow, Amazon S3 storage

 Skills:

• Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming
• Understanding of MVC design patterns
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

• Familiarity with SQL databases and their declarative query languages
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

 Day to day:

• Working alongside front-end developers to create features for the company’s web applications. You will take part in the entire feature lifecycle.
• Writing efficient, testable, and reusable PHP code using the Laravel framework

• Following (and contributing) to the best practices and standards for development on the website
• Debugging applications, monitoring, and fixing errors
• Optimising performance and solving complex architectural challenges
• Integrating MYSQL data storage solutions
• Integrating with 3rd parties via APIs

• Collaborating with developers, the testing team, and product managers
